With tax season now being behind us, there is one phrase that strikes fear in the hearts of many- “You’re being audited”. Yes, that small phrase has been known to make a grown man cry. Not really, but it does render some long and tedious implications that your every move from the past year is going to be scrutinized.
So what can you do to avoid this terrible fate? There are a few simple steps that you can take to err on the side of caution and not raise any red flags.
